Sarah Maheux-Lacroix MD, FRCSC, is a gynecologist, clinician researcher and assistant professor at the CHU de Québec – Université Laval. She was trained in Laval University, where she completed a specialty in obstetrics-gynecology, as well as a MSc and PhD in epidemiology. She also completed a fellowship in Minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at the Royal Hospital for Women, in Sydney, Australia. Her research, funded by CIHR and FRSQ, focuses on optimizing the management of women with endometriosis in order to improve pain management, promote a better quality of life and optimize fertility.
